Is FoW still worth of time?
(Sry 'bout my bad english, I'm from Finland and just 15 years old...)
I don't really got money (about 5 plats at the storage and few plats per char), but I'm dreaming about EotN armors. If they are 15k armours, it's impossible to me get them, since I'm not good at money saving... (just spend 20k for minipet ). So, I farm Hulking Stone Elementals at HM, and get about 2k per run + golden stuff. I don't want to stay hours at Kamadan european.1. spamming "WTS golden stuff for wars and rangers!!! OFFER", so that golden stuff goes to my storage (which is full of stuff, about 15 runes, two armor sets and goldens). So, I don't get my money off from that golden stuff. I'm imaging to go solo FoW beach with my VoS Dervish (VoS 'cause then I can fight against Ancient Skales too). But, is FoW worth of time and money that you have to spend to entrance fees before you can do succesfull runs? I have spend 'bout 8k without any good drops, that Avatar of Dwayna just don't work 'cause of Ancient Skales. Now I get that idea about VoS-dervish, that works I think, but is FoW worth of time? Obsidian shard are not very expensive, about 2k when selling, what about other drops? If i don't get any Shards, do I still get entrance fee back? (I pick up _everything_ of course)
Is FoW still "easy" way to get rich fast?

If you're good, you can make ok money. You'll probably lose a lot starting out, though, I wouldn't recommend it if you're only going in with 5k.
To make things worse, pretty much all the gold drops you'll get are worthless now thanks to the inscription system.
I suggest selling all your stuff en masse in the sell section of these forums, takes no time and works quickly. A tip: sell your stuff for less than you might think it's worth. Too many people ask exorbitant prices and sell nothing. 100 1k items is easier to sell than 1 100k item.

Atm I can farm that few plats at 15-20mins, so I do have money for learning
I think I would put some thread to GWFI (finnish guild wars site) where i sell all my golds for 1k-5k. Some of them are worth of much more, but it doesn't matter, only money what I really have means

I'm D/Me (or anything if needed).
My build is pretty similar to that. I tested it and it do works, I have just messed up with Ancient Skales 'cause I haven't pull enough and Snarling came and killed me But next run i know that and everything goes better

FoW is extremely profitable (I used to run a R/Me forest solo build) for farming, the only downside is that you need lots and lots of practice. After a week or so I was making 10-50k a day in drops, 15k in shards (I count things like rubies and sapphires as drops).
Most profitable run was something like 30k in a single run (3 shards, 4 rubies, 2 gold items, and some other stuff), so FoW is definitely worth farming.
In Normal Mode you may have some difficulty getting decent money out of FoW, but in Hard Mode it shouldn't be a problem.

Fow HM is very profitable! I sometimes go down with a friend, and we usually come out at least 5-10 k richer

Its profitable but the value of shards just isn't worth the effort, especially as loot scaling completely screwed up the regular drops so unless you get lucky you struggle to get back the price of entry. Better to just farm the popular greens for heroes imo.

That's funny. All my W/Me spider runs since loot scaling and the armour nerf has had no noticeable effect. I consistently have to leave items behind because my inventory cannot hold all the stuff dropping for me

Imo, not worth it, just merchant for your money, 1000% more profitable.

Meh, spider runs bore the crap out of me... i was talking about Forest farming really, EoE tends to kill things together.

Yup, When fighting a single enemy, use a dmg +15% while Ench. Scythe, doesn't matter if the scythe is heavy, cruel, icy, etc.
When you can hit more than 1 enemy, it's better to use zealous scythe with the same damage mod.

Guild: It's a shame, this game had so much potential, but is ruined due to stale gameplay and lame updates

I do the E/R Normal Mode Solo and sometimes HM Duo Smite. I can get good cash with it, my inventory is full after one run and you can get up to 10k a run if you are lucky with shards.
